Mid Terrace House - Full Renovation & rear extensions

This 1920's terrace house on Griffith Avenue had not be upgraded since its original construction. A beautiful double fronted house was not fit for modern family living. DWA where engaged to provide Architectural and PSDP design services to carry out a deep retrofit to the existing dwelling and construction of new extensions to the rear.

DWA engaged in early discussions in collaboration with the clients on the development of the brief, and what the story of the new house should be. Respecting the existing house whilst still providing for a modern living accommodation with plenty of natural light was the underlying story of what the house was to become.

DW Architects presents a stunning transformation that breathes new life into this once old house. With meticulous modernization, this home has been reborn as a light-filled family sanctuary.
